It has been 16 years since we opened Melbourne campus in Australia.
Our 2009 students arrived in Melbourne from Japan early April. They live with Australian families, study English and other subjects for 10 months.
During Orientation week, we took them out to famous spots in Victoria. They met Koalas, Kangaroos, Wallabies and Little Penguins in Phillip Island, also spent 3 days in Farm Camp on the Great Ocean Road, where they came close to great nature of Australia. It was the time they think “We really are in Australia!!” Their adventure has just started!
At the beginning of the program, we have Welcome party every year. Here is the report of the party this year by Yuri, one of our students from Osaka.

We held the Welcome Party at the school. We invited our host families.
Mari and I gave a speech wearing same dress.

“ One month has already passed since we arrived in Australia. It's only one month, but
we've got many experiences, of course, both good and bad.”
We wanted to amuse and touch everyone.
Then...
WE DID IT!!
Everyone said it was a very good speech. We were glad to hear that.
After the speech, we enjoyed our dinner talking with our families.
Every student wore a party dress, yukata or suit, so they looked very beautiful!
It was a very good party :)
